Default If my Power Commander is premapped ....

Going with the Rush slip-ons, SE A/C. Going to order the PC5 direct from Dynojet with the correct map installed. Will the bike run fine by just installing the stuff, or will a dyno run be necessary? Not taking the bike to the dragstrip, just looking for improvement in running.

Take a look at Dynojet's Power Vision. With the PV - you flash the ecm and put it away if you want. Nothing is installed on the bike. Or you can install the power vision on the bike and use it as a tach, get temp readings, fuel economy info, etc...

My bike ran perfect with the set-up that was pre-installed for my PC3. I just told them what mods I was doing, at the time is was just a Bub 7 2-1 and a Big Sucker stage 1. I was very happy with the way the bike ran.

Go with FuelMoto. You'll get a better map, more choices of maps for future use, and excellent tech support over the phone. Prices are good, too.

You might also want to consider the Power Vision, as mentioned above, or add the Auto Tune to the PC-V.

Call and talk to them about what you have and what you want. They'll take care of you. They're also a hdforums sponsor, so be sure and tell them that you heard about them here.

+1 on FuelMoto. Their customer service is great and pretty quick when you need a new map. It's always nice to go with a forum sponser, too.

The bike will run fine. A dyno tune is not necessary.

Having said that, if you want the best performance out of your bike then you will want a dyno tune. The map loaded on the Power Commander is not for your bike. It's a map created while another bike with similar mods was tuned on a dyno. So it will be close, but not perfect.

Thanks all! Sounds like it will run fine. I can always dyno later.
