Default Bub Lakester 2-1 w/ Stock Air Box?

West End Website claims it does not work with Fat Bobs and 2010 Wide Glides with Stock Air Box. I can not see why it would not work. Are all dynas 96's the same ?

I would like to have comments on this pipe, if you have it on your dyna.

I wonder if that has something to do with the cats in the head pipe. Do other Dyna models have cats?

I have them on my 2011 Fat Bob. I immediately did the air filter and added a PCV as well. For what you pay for the pipes (compared to others out there) you can have some left over for the filter...

I can't imagine why they are saying it won't fit. I also did the pipe and AC at the same time so I can't say for sure. The head pipe is pretty much the same bend as the stock pipe so I'm calling bull$hit on this...

Stock... IMO it just doesn't look like there should be any interference.

How happy are you guys with this pipe over all?

If you had a choice, would get the same pipe?

Does the pipe hang out to Far or to Low?

I was worried about scraping, it is low but so far so good, though I'm new to the bike and still getting the feel of things so that will probably change. My only complaint about them is the heat coming off the pipe that runs under your right thigh...

As for performance and sound, both great. The sound is nice and throaty without being so loud my neighbors complain (yet). They also sell a baffle for $26 in they are too loud. Obviously you already like the short pipe look that maintains the 2 into 1...

I think I paid like $550 for them and so given the price and more expensive options I would probably give them another shot if I had it to do over.

My ONLY complaint is that I do scrape on some right hand turns. That being said, I think it's about the same as the stock pipes (which I scrubbed up as well). I'm putting on longer rear shocks which hopefully will take care of the issue.

I don't notice any heat on my right leg from the pipes. Overall, I really like the sound and power from this pipe.
