I'm wanting to powder coat my clamps black. Just wondering what all is required in removing the clamps? Do I need any special tools? Any help would be awesome, thanks guys.

If you mean the trees, you'll need.

a 45 Torx for the pinch bolts
and should be a 24mm socket for the front axle (that's what it is on my 08)
I'm not sure what the main bolt through the neck is as i havent made it that far yet.

I'm currently disassembling my front end (for the first time) as well for powdercoating & fixing a blown fork seal.
