Congrats! Enjoy! I've only owned Dynas, but I have to admit that I like the look of the Nightster. Good looking ride. Looks like it would be a fun ride.

 

I just did the same thing today except I traded in my 1200 Custom. Wont have my bike for a week due to mods I'm getting done. What's the main difference you notice thus far with the new Wide Glide?

first off, thanks for the congrats guys i appreciate it

im not a big picture posting person.. but i will see what i can get over
the next 2 days, no sooner did i get it home last night and the skies opened up,
i at least got 2 demo rides for a total of 25 miles anyway.

first mod has already been done which was the reach seat, being vertically challenged it just wasnt comfortable riding and was almost a deal breaker
until i asked them if they had a reach in stock for it. it made all the difference
in the world.

next on the agenda will be some mounts for my memphis shade wind shields,
i have 2 that i used on my nightster. a del rey and an el paso since i commute
every day in the warm months i need to divert some of that air.

after that it will be some pipes, i know we have emission laws in this country but DAMN same as my nightster when i first got it, its just too Freaking quiet.

i also would like the ditch the tear drop air cleaner cover as i prefer the round,
just shows so much more of the engine.


also dont get me wrong too, i loved the nightster and if i had a big enough garage
i would have kept it and just added the dyna.
the nightster was a great bike and i finally got it modded to where it was just about perfect but my dealership was doing a huge push yesterday and the offer they made me just couldnt be refused.
