Default Changing out Spark Plug Cables on Fat Bob

I was wondering if any Fat Bobbers changed out their spark plug wires. I'm considering doing it but the instructions I've seen say you need to lift the tank up, on my 2011 Fat Bob it doesn't look like I need to do that at all. Am I missing something here?

I changed mine in less than 1 minute. You pull the old ones off and put the new ones on. (They just snap on...no tools or anything needed.)

No, lifting the tank isn't necessary, but doing so would make it a bit easier to swap out the front cyl wire as there is very little space to work with between the tank and horn cover.

When I changed to the SE wires, I also removed the OEM wire holder above the horn and replaced it with an insulated electrical cable holder purchased at the hardware store - looks decent and works great.

Default Wires

Not hard at all should take no more than 20 minutes.

The old wires looks so flimsy compared to the fat screaming eagle wires.

Super easy, snap on. Just need to get new clips to replace the zip ties I'm using to secure them to the horn mount. Thanks.

Some spark plug wire manufacturers "claim" a horsepower increase just by changing wires. True or false? Depends on who you talk to...

True they claim that, false that any power is gained.

I don't see how you can get a horsepower increase .
