I really want to keep my 2011 Super Glide Custom simple but want to somehow carry a roll bag etc. Does anyone have any ideas without attaching a sissybar etc. Has anyone tried the Bikers Friend bag?

 

Lots of people use the Bikers Friend. Its a brilliantly simple design.

 

T Bag Falcon might work, depending on how much you intend to carry. This is on my 2010 FXDC. Works well for rainsuit, gloves, cable lock, etc. This pic is without the top bag which works well for lashing down your jacket in the winter.

 

Thanks Guys. 11bDad. Where do you get the Tbag Falcon and how does it attach. Also, what is the top bag you are referencing? Does this hold more storage?

 

Look around online. I don't recall where I bought them. The top bag has very little additional storage. Gloves, neck gaiter, etc. It works well if you need to shed your jacket and lash it down. The bag attaches with straps at the rear signals, and straps in the front that I have run between the fender strut and shock down to the passenger footpeg mounts. Very secure and very well made. You do lose some space if you have a 2 up saddle. It's worked well for me.
