Default 2 Use Screamin Eagle 20/50 in Tran or Not

So im bout to change my trans fluid. Harley says you can use the same stuff on all the fluids. Im running the screain eagle 20/50 in my engine and primary, but is it a good idea to run it in the trans? If not what should I use?

Thanks guys

It works ok. I ran Screamin Eagle 20 w 50 in my trans for a long time . primary too . I use amsoil in the engine. plan to do that again when the bike turns over 5000 miles. My favorite trans formula is by Red Line. Looks like pepto bismol but works great. Its a little too spendy for me these days.

I use amsoil severe gear synthetic for the transmission, shifts much smoother and seems like its easier to find neutral than with 20/50 se oil.

If you can afford it amsoil is certainly the way to go. I know it works.

Yah I hear great thing about amsoil. The trans I think only need a quart. So maybe I will give that a try.

Squirrel if you don't over fill the primary then neutral will be a lot easier to find. That was my mistake the first time, then I spoke with a few techs. Fill it enough so that it's a bit above the bottom of the clutch basket. Harley says 1 quart but a bit over 3/4 will do
