Well I came to a conclusion that I still thought a clear 3m sheild would be best (like they use for clear bras on cars). So I called up a local window tinting place near by I have had multiple vehicles tinted by and asked them if they could custom fit something for me. Well to my supprise they said no problem I has it done this afternoon looks awesome can barely even see it honestly (hence the reason I have no pic) I would recommend this option forsure if you have access to a professional. I tried doning it myself and it just did not turn out but these guys....Did it right!! Thanks for all the suggestions.

The passenger seat on my bike just touches the fender in four places with the little round rubber bumpers. I figured that 4 little pieces of tape on the fender would prevent the bumpers from touching the paint. Even the rubber mat will grind the paint to a certain extent just due to the slight movement of the mat over the paint. Even a small piece of that clear packaging tape should work.

Gotta love Denim paint. Getting rid of scratches is very easy.

42.00 including uncle sams take so I thought that was not bad at all. I mean it only took 30 mins and probably 2 bucks in material but for what its going to save me in the long run well worth it!! Best part they do a great job so unless I point it out you can't see it. He made the seams on the pin striping so you can;t see the lines even on the sides.

I really like the denim paint but no such thing for the wide glides. Not factory anyway

I just ordered a fender bib actually about a week ago, I got it because I needed something there when riding solo. The bolt that hold the pass seat vibrates like no other with it having nothing to attach to.
