No one likes marks on their bike, but instead of getting annoyed/upset about it, I try to see it in a positive way. Every mark on there was put by me, and every mark has a story
Nope. All my stuff is stock height. H-D's ain't canyon carvers to begin with and (for me) stuff like lowering and forward controls take away alot of cornering & control. When my pegs are scraping, my primary still ain't nowhere near the street.
Once and it scared the **** out of me when it unloaded the suspension. I was getting around a corner that wad a hump to it and it hit hard, not a scrape. I try not to get that low, if I wanted to I'd still be on a sport bike.
yes my fxdf stock height has hit a few times looks a bit more ground than yours first time i did it i just thought it was the pegs i ended up putting a bit of aluminium plate around it looks bloody horrible but dont want the expense of replacing it the guy i ride with has a fxdf too and his leaks oil where the ground has gone all the way through

On my first Street Bob I hit the primary when it was at stock height so whether it's lowered or not I'll end up hitting it either way. I only had that bike for a year so never got to test how much abuse it could take before it cracked or ground through. I guess we will see.
