Default Fat Bob front wheel on a Street Bob

I want to mount a Fat Bob wheel with a single rotor on my 09 Street Bob. I dont want to swap out the trees. I know a 130/90-16 will fit between the mid glide legs because there are several on here with that setup. Does anyone know if this swap will work out wit the original spacers and axle.....the Fat Bob wheel I have has the 25mm bearings too. Im pretty sure that it cant be that easy.......any ideas?

I'm waiting to see an answer here too. I have been wondering the same thing.

The 16 inch front wheels that people have put on mid-glides were the result of the original hub being laced to a 16 inch rim, using custom spokes from Buchanan. The Fat Bob wheel has the "FL" hub width. You would best be served replacing the trees with Fat Bob trees (I did). I kept the Street Bob forks and sliders and using the original Street Bob spacers, everything fit including the brakes. The Fat Bob fender has slightly different mounting hole but can be redrilled. I also took this route on a Nightster and all worked out great. My Street Bob headlight wound up on the Nightster and looks great on the wide trees.

I'll watch this post for any more questions you may have...............
