Default 1.5 inch tank lift any where?

Looks like my 2 inch lift wont work with my current set up of bars and risers. (Can't get the bars to clear the tank at full left and right.)

If I could just have .5 inches lower I think I would be good to go.

I could just get taller risers but...

I know I have read somewhere that someone had a 1.5 or 1.6 inch lift made.
Any info is appreciated.

Cheers,

Tom

Yeah I know that.
But I have already dented my gas cap while parking the bike and while maneuvering out of my back door walk way. That's right... I go full left and right when parking the bike and when necessary to get out of a tight squeeze and I park my ride in a very tight squeeze.

So I need a lower lift.

Cheers,

Tom

Zero...if you have one of Jackyl's 2" tank lift, you can do what I did. I cut my 3" down to 2". Brought it to a welder friend and he tacked it up in about 5min. I then just rattle-canned it black. It's all good. Cost = FREE

Great Idea! Might know someone that could do that. Thanks for the idea.

I use the full range of steering very regularly. That's a lot more than "never". Most often when backing out of my driveway. Sometimes when backing in to a parking spot.

Full left and full right. Frequently. That's right....frequently

Until I installed the riser spacers, my throttle cables were touching my tank at full lock. I didn't think it was an issue until I noticed that the rubber sleeve had slipped down and metal was touching my tank on full right steering. Tiny scratch there. Looks like a canyon to me, though.
