I've been getting ready for the trip all week. Oil changed, tranny fluid changed, engine degreased, air filter cleaned... Putting on a set of Cycle Shack slip ons and doing the primary tomorrow night (and packing.) I'm heading out Friday morning and staying until Sunday. The weather is supposed to be perfect. I'm stoked.

It depends what you do, but not really. I have a house in Pensacola and lived there for two years. My wife could not find work anywhere because she was a woman from NYC. Everything is run by men. They were either threatened by her for jobs that she was qualified for, or they would not hire her because she was over qualified. She made good friends with a woman down there who gave her some part time work. The woman grew up down there and that was her summary of it, not ours. This was also before the recession. I work in the residential remodeling field, so I probably would have ended up losing my job if we stayed. You need to be part of the good ol' boy network in order to surrvive.

Yes if you will work for pennies! It really depends on what you do! Born and raised there but have not worked there in 20 yrs. Go a little to the east of there on the coast, great riding!

I got home this evening around 5, and it may have been one of the best weekends of my life. Mustang Sally, Coyote Uglys, riding down and back home surrounded by other bikes, cruising and bar hopping until 4 am, 850 miles on my bike in two days..
