+1 on the Nevr-Dull, I swear that stuff is magic.

What about using something like Mothers Powerball? Or a similar brush-type item for the end of a drill? I realize those are more for polishing, but a little soap and water on one of those might eliminate the need for a lot of elbow grease. Just a thought.

Wow. Aluminum foil. Great idea. However I bought a drill bit attachment. It's a cone shape with a 3/8s drive on it. It's almost like a foam or something. Anyways I put it in my drill and it cleans em like a champ. I bought it at parts source but I am sure you can get them at any parts store. I do my front and rear in about 10 minutes to a new looking rim. I think it's for cleaning car wheels. Works great with minimal effort. I found it in the detailing section. Best 10 bucks I ever spent for cleaning up my car and bike rims

That's it. A powerball. You just put a drop of metal polish on the ball and have at er. Thanks

I run polished stainless spokes to avoid the rust problems. I just wipe them down when I'm cleaning the bike.

I found some minor surface rust on my front spokes today while washing the bike. I'm not terribly concerned but I really like the sounds of replacing them with stainless steal spokes. Does anyone have a ballpark on what it would cost to get my wheels relaced with SS spokes?

+1 on the brake pads!

Stock pads produce a lot of dust, and will make your wheels corrode fast if you don't keep 'em wiped down.
