??? Shouldn't be a problem. You should have plenty of length in your cables. Unless your talking about tall t-bars. If that's the case I don't know how much length is in your stock stuff. Low riders come with buck horns right?
The cables will be way too long unless you use a very tall riser. I have an 07 my self and when I bought it last summer the original owner put drag bars on it and it looked stupid as the cables were too long. Luckily he still had the stock setup which I promptly put back on the bike as drag bars were not my style anyway. I still have the bars and risers and if you are interested in them let me know and I can snap some pics for you. I was going to put them up in the classified section but never got around to it.
OEM bars from my lowrider are not buck horns. Old sporsters had true buckhorns. The bars on my lowrider to me are the most comfortable bars that ever came stock on all the bikes I've owned. usually the bars are the first thing I change on a bike but not this time.
