If I wanted a shield, I would have never began riding at age nine.

Windvest. Small but enough to knock the big blast off your chest at speed and reduces the wind noise in you ears quite a bit.

Kinda buggy but thats why it never comes off.

Here's mine:

A closer pic:

And the modified headlight cutout:

It's the hardware from the H-D QD windshield (# 58348-06), with Memphis Shields replacement lexan meant for Wide Glides & Softails (# 2310-0126).

I found that the H-D QD windshield caused dreadful buffeting. I tried changing the angle by making s/s brackets that moved the bottom of the windshield ¾" (at the lower clamp) forward, which improved things a bit, but not enough.

A friend then suggested the Memphis Shades replacement lexan. By getting the one for Wide Glides & Softails, the screen is wider. The headlight cutout needed extending upward by 1¼".

This is the original H-D QD screen:

I still want the screen to be better. I'm going to try a Klock Werks screen (again, plastic only) which has a flip at the top, and 'hips' at the sides which are suposed to kick the wind out around the rider, and increase down force (whereas the regular screens decrease it).

Klock Werks don't list a screen for '06+ Dynas, but either the 'Wide Glide/Softail' or 'XL/FXR/Super Glide' ones will fit the H-D QD hardware. Klock Werks say that the one to go for is the 'Wide Glide/Softail' one (# 2310-0348) in order for the headlight cutout to fit. Here's a pic from Klock Werks:

but this pic of their Road King screen shows the shape better:
