+1 on the strap wrench, and napa autoparts sells the square one.

ive had done all my services on my bike. im not paying harley $200-500 for something i can do myself!! im a tightass!!!!

It is a strap type oil filter wrench. Most auto parts stores carry them. The handle is a 1/2" square tube that you can put a ratchet on.

I used this same strap wrench.Got it at NAPA for 6.50

A standard car small filter strap wrench works fine-metal strap. As you pull the handle, it tightens itself.
