The guys in the Video are from a stunt crew up in Nor Cal. The majority of their bikes are set up with a fairing and t bars. My point was that it's a popular style of bike, not just with "patch wearers" and weekend warriors trying to look like they just rolled off the set of SOA.

I grew up around Nor Cal; I've seen that style of bike around for as long as I can remember. That was back when it was Shovels and Evo FXR's with tall risers and drag bars and the old Ness fairing. I don't have any beef with SOA but it sucks that a style of bike that I've always associated with being all business and no bullshit is constantly compared to a TV show, even when it's meant as a compliment.

I get what you are saying but I grew up in the midwest and that style of bike isn't common. I actually never saw any bikes like that around until the show came out. I grew up with choppers and soft tails with apes, that is what is more common around here.

According to their web site, the SOA bikes were set up right out of the catalogue. The individule riders picked out how they wanted their bikes set up.
That suggests the parts were there long before the show.

I suppose those same people commenting think everyone with a chopper coppied the EASY RIDER movie.
