The AMF years may have been "the dark days" for the MoCo but they did make some beautiful bikes in those years. I like where the OP is going with the bike. Can I have the bugeye lights?

I love my street bob , but unless I chop it or put a springer on it .. it looks like pretty much every other street bob I have seen. I like what you are doing (1) because its my opinion it looks great that way and (2) not every tom , dick and harry are doing it. Im thinking of a fairly radical tank paint job just to have something a bit different on my own bike. Keep posting pics when its all done id love to see it.

That's an interesting bike...some parts I like and others...not so much. Overall, I think you've got a pretty sweet bike! Keep us posted.

I ended up buying convincor's lights. Here's the ad I bought them from with the part numbers:

Here's an old thread that discusses aux. lighting for Dynas. Lots of diagrams:

Hope this helps.

I'll work on getting some links/info on mounting the spotlight bar. As for pics - go to:
http://s249.photobucket.com/albums/gg205/lonewatie/

See this part of the forum for lots of good info:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/group...est-group.html
Most answers can be found digging around in there; that's where I got my info.

The latest on my project is that it's been a long winter, but I'm almost ready to paint the tank and fenders, which I'm doing myself. I've spent this week prepping the fenders; I just put some undercoating on the fenders today, and will do another 2-3 coats of that this week. I would say in a month I'll be done given my work schedule. I'll definitely post some pics of the finished product.

Do you still have the factory front fender I am looking for one for my Low to modify a bit.

Would like to see updated pics as well, like where your bike is headed

Found these on a German Fat Bob site. Looks good, needs a solo seat kind of reminds me of an Indian in some ways.
