Default Slip Ons For Super Glide

I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it on the boards-Have a 2011 Superglide-got Cycle Shack slip ons-used them on an older Sportster and sounded great-but these sound like **** at high speed and especially acceleration -what would sound good? Vance & Hines i've heard sound good, as well as others-not sure what to go with. Thanks for any help !!

I have the same bike and I put V&H slash downs on it. I like them, they're not obnoxios loud but sound good. I've heard alot of folks say they like their cycle shacks but i've never tried them. I have S&S slipons on my Sportster, these are alot louder.

I have Rush Slash cut slip-ons with the 1.75 baffles on my 2010 FXDC. Absolutely great sound. Check out their sound bytes.

Love the Vance and Hines Straight Shots with the Big City Thunder Monster Baffles. Awesome sound, but you better like 'em kinda loud

I have the V&H slash cut with the quiet baffles on my 2010 FXDC and I think it's a great combo of loud but not too loud - they do wake up very nicely when you get on it and are not obnoxious at cruising speeds.

I ran the straight shots, but do not like the standard baffle. I installed the quiet baffles, which made the exhaust much deeper, but hardly any more quiet. No popping on decel either. At WOT they sound great!

But in the end I swapped to a Thunderheader 2-1.

I had Python 3's once, and they were so loud no one would ride behind me. Used Rush with 2" baffles, and they sounded great. Call me crazy, but I'm running the stock mufflers on my new Dyna. It allows me to hear the music through my earbuds,on longer rides...

There are so many different sounds, probably be best to go to a dealer on a busy day or to a rally and just listen. Hear something you like, go and ask what they are. Motorcycle riders love to talk about their bikes...dd50
