So looking at the craftsman on the Sears website, the one that I think everyone is referring to goes from 10-75ft lbs, so a minimum of 120in lbs; is this a good one to go with as far as the range of lbs? Or do I need something that goes lower on the inch lbs?
Get one that goes to at least 150 foot pounds. I got mine at O'Reillys for twenty dollars and it works just fine. You will certainly need it when you adjust your drive belt tention. And yeah you will need one that goes in inch pounds.
You may have gotten more responses by starting a new thread to ask your question about the torque spec of a spoke nipple. Instead you resurrected an 8 year old thread about torque wrenches. Also, you have a Road King and this thread is in the Dyna subforum.
I can't say that it would be the same for your bike but on my 2012 Heritage the torque spec for the spoke nipples is 55 inch-pounds.
