Default New FXDWG owner, YIPEE!

Greetings to all! I purchased this 03 FXDWG this summer. It had 1200 miles on it when I bought it and now has 2400. I've put new pipes, stage 1 kit and longer HD front pegs on it. I have always had metric bikes but this is my first HD. I'm lovin life right now. Nothin rides and sounds like a Harley. I do have a question about scissor jacks and the typical hydraulic motorcycle jack. What kind of jack is going to work best for oil changes and basic stuff? I like the idea of a small jack so the scissor jack is my first choice. But looking under the bike, the parts hanging down (heat deflector by the tranny??? and kickstand bracket) seem like they will get into the way. Any advice? Thanks in advance! BB

PS, I know that I will need the HD part number 98965-99 jack adapter for the bike. Thanks, BB

First off, Welcome and congrats on the new scoot. Nice looking bike. For info on jacks, try the general HD chat forum and do a search on keyword jacks. There is alot of info. there. An '03 with 1200 miles...WOW. Makes me wonder how many 100th anniversary models are sitting out there being garage queens.

IMO, there's still nothing cooler, tougher, and better looking than a WG. Congrats on the bike, and welcome to our family.
