Default All the mods to my SG so far

I've only had my Dyna for about 5 months now, and I've been pretty steadily making changes... I figured I'd post up pics and a list of changes...

My bike, the day I bought it- August 13, 2011.

The bike today, right after I did the headlight visor, and right before pipes...

After the pipes...

Changes I've made since Day 1:

2007 FXDC woth 900 miles: $10,000
Hot Leathers Bags, with 300 watt RMS amp mounted inside: $250
Toolbag with 5.25" Speakers: $60
Drag Specialties T-Bar: $50
H-D turn-signal/Brake light module: $60
Night Rod Fairing/Headlamp visor: $57
Vance & Hines Big Shots: $140
Power Commander III USB: $50
K&N Filter: $60
Blacked out engine/transmission: $12
Painted tins, forks, A/C, and fairing with Pasti-Dip: $40

Mods I have done, and removed/replaced:
XiED's: $79
Cycle Shack Slip Ons: $30
Handlebar Mounted windshield: $40
Ditched smoked tail lens for stock red: Free

I still have plans to go with forward controls, but I haven't ridden with them yet, so I'm waiting to test 'em out first. I also am aiming to chop the rear fender, change out all of the back-end lighting, lower the bike, get a Haulen-*** sissy bar, front turn signal relocation, and get the fattest rear tire I can get without major modifications, and change out the rims... Spokes are okay, but the rim itself is a rounded-out do-jobber, it doesn't have the standard lip like everyone else's.

Very tasteful mods. I would like to hear more about the speaker bag. You say your running the amp in the bags and 1 speaker in the bag? More info on this would be great. I have always wanted tunes but just can't lock down the one. Mickey mouse ear speakers isn't an option.

I've had my dyna for about 8 months and have already installed..... Vance and hines slip-ons, forward controls, large leather saddlebags rear turn signal relocation with license plate mount. Willie G derby and timing cover, Chrome coil cover, voltage regulator cover, Chrome tank bib. Roland Sands king apes. front turn signal relocation clamps. Smoked turn signal lenses with chrome bezzles. Hand grips, mirrors, Foot pegs, shifter peg, brake peddle. And I'm sure there is something I'm forgetting. 1st pic. stock. 2nd pic now.

I just bought a fork bag that was a bit over 12" long inside, cut a piece of 1/4" plywood that fit snugly inside, cut the holes for two speakers, the sliced open the backside of the leather bag to let the sound out. Without something blocking the wind, like a small windshield or fairing, you won't be able to hear it. I'm considering taking mine off, I like the sound of the new pipes so much, I don't care about times anymore.

That looks pretty good for plasti-dip. So does that mean you can just peel it off and the stock paint will be preserved underneath?

Yeah, I love the stuff. Left alone, it will last about 10 years, but.if you wanna peel it off, it'd take 30 mins tops. I didn't follow standard paint procedures though, I went with a heavy first coat, this stuff settles down GREAT! I painted a Sportster for a guy here, paid me $100 to do it, and he loves it.

Almost forgot, I bent the crap out of my license plate mount, and sprayed the forks with plasti dip too. That stuff has been holding up WAY better than I ever imagined!
