Pics of my FXDL transformation
Thought I would put up some pics from the project I have been working on over the winter. I still have a few other changes to make and upgrades I want to do, including bars, but I think it is looking good so far. Let me know what you think.
Here is what it looked like in Sept. when I bought it...oh and my son had to sit on it first.
Then I tore it apart....
..And I got this so far!

Thanks man. I wanted to do a side mount plate, but I never welded the holes from stock location. So I think I might just get a flat curve mount. My rear sigs are built into the tail light, and it looks great. Trying to decide on a smaller set of fronts.

Looking real nice....Congrats as well on your new ride. I thought about the side mount as well on mine but since I sometimes use my saddlebags I decided to use the curved laydown plate. Looks real good imo and less hassle from the man. Now if I could only finish the winter mods on the house then I can begin my real winter mods...lol. Good luck and enjoy!!!

Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it. I have a few things I want to do yet, like powder coat the lower forks black, single seat, maybe a dfferent air cleaner as well.
@Crimson13 - I am looking at black 14" or 16" mini apes from demons, with probably an 1 1/2"-2" risers.
@bobnehoc - I think the curved plate is better as well. Good luck on the house mods man.
