Anybody who spends 15 grand on a bike and puts a cheap a$$ filter on it, doesn't have all the fries in their happy meal. The Harley filter is a 5 micron filter...if you can get another 5 micron filter cheap then go for it.
I agree, I wasn't sure If I had a premium filter or not, Thats one reason I posted, the other reason was would an inferior filter be used for a limited amount of time. But when panic sets in ya do crazy shlt. The term I was at a loss with earlier is a bypass valve, microns aside, the bypass valve is the most important aspect for the twin cam 96. I'm glad I found a supplier on such short notice. And got the appropriate filter.

The bi pass valve is an important safety feature, if filter media happens to clog the oil is still going to circulate. Don't skimp, make sure your using a filter with a 5 micron rating
