Default Switchback floorboards on a superglide

Thinking about a set of Switchback floorboards and controls for my 08 Superglide. Service guy says it looks like a bolt for bolt exchange, but thought I'd see if anyone has tried it before I sink bucks into the idea. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Lots of posts on that topic here, complete with detailed parts lists.

Try searching the forum for 'FLD floorboards'.

Good luck!

I looked into it too. Big $$ for HD stock. Abour $400 for the aftermarket stuff complete with rocker shifter and brake linkage.

Yeah, that's the route I took. Wyatt footboard kit. I got lucky. Paid $319 for the complete kit. I'm extremely happy with them. I considered the FLD setup after the fact, but after riding an FLD I decided I didn't like the more forward stance of the FLD boards.

In case you're interested, the Wyatt footboard part number is 27-0920. If you want a chrome engine guard that will bolt to the Wyatt footboards, the H-D part number is 49218-01.

Thanks. I checked Wyatt's web site and it looks like the best option for a reasonable price. Same part # you listed.

I hate pegs and sure would like to put them on my FXDC but their site shows only up to 2009. Guess I'll have to keep looking.

According to this site they fit '96-'11 models. IMO they should fit '12 models as well. Give them a call and you'll know!

FLD floorboards don't have any adjustments?
