Got my Outlaw helmet today from Leatherup. I read threads here and a bunch of reviews on their site before buying one. Like many I was looking for a non-mushroom head helmet. It was only $39 and with their return policy I figured if I didn't like it I would just return it. Well I was pretty surprised when I saw it in person. This thing is small. Compared to my Harley half helmet (KBC) it almost looks like it would fit inside of it. I would be surprised if there was another DOT helmet on the market that was smaller.

The front was a little tight on my forehead so I had to smash the foam a little but otherwise it's not bad as far as fit. It definitely cuts way down on the shroom head look. It almost looks like a novelty lid. In fact, as soon as the wife saw it she said "Oh I don't like that at all." hahaha

Anyone looking for a small DOT helmet you can't go wrong with one of these.

Thanks for the write up, it's time for a new lid and i was looking at Daytonas, i've read all the reviews but i'm always cautious because i don't really know who wrote them, but seeing pics and reading a post from Dyna bro i'm sold.

No problem bro. I was skeptical too. They show interior pics on their site but you still really can't tell until you see it side by side with a "regular" helmet. Glad to help.

 

Got one in black and a pink one for the old lady. 39 bucks cant be beat.

 

Not a big fan of the buck tooth skull but the size looks better. Might have to order one.

 

I have a matte black one...best half lid out there. Definitely worth the price!
