Do you leave the little pads/cushions that are under the passenger pillion that are glued onto the fender on when putting the bib on or do they have to come off?

i'd say you remove the pads off the rear fender before installing the bib.

You would definatly remove them off the fender. WHat i did originally was remove them off the fender and reinstalled them onto the bottom of the pillion this was if i needed to put it back on it will have the spacer needed. Also when i put it on i left the fender bib on.

At first I removed the pads and stuck them under the rear of my two up seat, but I don't bother any more. The 2 up seat left some marring on the fender which i don't want to take down every couple of months , and that is when I bought the fender bib. I wouldn't leave that on while riding 2 up as I'm sure the marring would then occur to the bib, which I find that for what it is,it's a pricey little doddad!

I took the passenger pillion off today. Still need to clean it up a bit, but there's got to be a better way then this to make it look "cleaner"/smoother.

For the seat, i ordered a bolt and cap from ebay. i heard i could use the stock screw in the rear hole and paint it black. well, i did that but it sticks up too high for my liking. I took the entire thing out but i didn't want a hole there.

So what do you guys do? Is this how it just is and i never noticed it before in the pics?

thanks,

John

They make a plastic cap that goes in that hole but it's about a $5 part from the dealer. Other than that I don't know what to tell you.

Thanks man....guess I'll just be spending the $5 at the dealer.

I appreciate it.
