Default Quick question about wide glide rear wheel

Will it fit on a superglide? I have a 12 FXDC. Going with a wide glide/fat bob frankenstein of a front end and I'm wondering if I could find a wide glide rear wheel if it would fit.

Yes, it will fit just fine, remove your old wheel and install the new one. The hub width in the rear is the same, same axle, spacers, etc. I installed a HD stinger wheel (fat bob fitment) on my 10 FXDC with no changes whatsoever - that's a 6" wheel with a 200 btw, its tight but it fits. Simple answer is all Dyna models have the same swingarm, axle, spacers, brakes etc - studying the parts book will tell you this, its money well spent.

Will my speedo be off at all? I also have airbags in the back so I wonder if I'll be able to slam it as much. I'll be staying with the 180.

Depends on what size tire you put on there, you'll have to check the height againsts your stock tire. You can correct speedometer error with a tuner like the TTS.

I would not worry about the speedometer until you put a GPS on it to check. When I built my 16 inch rear wheel (2010 Road King rim & Dyna hub/spokes) I was surprised to find out my speedometer is now more accurate than with the original 17 inch wheel. When it reads 70MPH, my GPS says 70 MPH!
