*Dyna ** CHALLENGE ** Game*
I do still want to participate,, but I've been noticing that enforcement of the "already done" rule has sometimes been selective,,
(not inferring special treatment, just an un-seen previous posting)
There ARE several duplicate challenges in the list through all the years,,
Take a look at #124 for instance,,
I don't want anyone to take offense at all, but we're kind of running out of things to do that haven't been done,,
Or we have to be so specific a challenge goes un-met for months

I agree. I have 1/2 of today set aside for nothing but riding. No particular route or destination. I came to this thread looking for a possible destination as I have played in the past. It doesn't bother me if the challenge has been posted previously.
This previously fun thread grows increasingly burdensome. Either allow duplicate challenges or close the thread and start a new one. IMHO

Looks like everybody has already quit participating, TOO MANY RULES!
Right, we have to go back and scroll 11 pages of challenges.
Maybe a rule that nothing can duplicate in less than 2yrs(?)
That might work, Dyna Challenge Game II (?)
Either allow duplicate challenges
or close the thread and start a new one. IMHO

This thread was to promote riding. It still can. But once the list gets a couple hundred items long, it does limit other ideas.
Not interested in these "rules" as they're too limiting. Maybe this thread is done, after all.
It was fun until the rules became an issue...

That's the reason why I started to record and published all challanges and results in a separate list
Seems a good idea to me
If we close the current thread and start a new one, participants from the current thread won't get update email notifications anymore
Too bad you feel that way.

As a mod and frequent poster in the Dyna Section I voluntered to monitor this thread (like I do in the A-Z Challange Game) and started keeping records of all challenge results as a service to all in here. Believe me, all this is a time consuming job!!
Up till now winners were very creative to find new challenges (which is a challenge in itself IMHO).
Here's where it all began:
DYNA CHALLENGE GAME RULES (UNOFFICIAL)
1. Post a pic of what was challenged by the previous requester. If you question your pic meeting the challenge, DON’T POST IT, because that’s what will kill this thread. Be 100% sure it meets the request.
2. After you post your pic that meets the current challenge, make your new challenge request and put in details if you want, just don’t make it so hard that a pic won’t get posted at all, that too will kill this thread.
3. Your pic must have been taken within the last 5 days. I know some people do a lot of traveling and might have got a cool shot of their bike while out last weekend, so let’s make use of them. If you do have an older pic that is cool and is like the challenge at hand, post it with a header at the top of the post saying it doesn’t meet the challenge and why, something like “Old pic and doesn’t meet the challenge, I just thought I would share it” the reaffirm what the current challenge is.
4. If you happen to be out getting a shot for the most current challenge and come back to find out that the challenge has already been met, post your pic anyways (after all we want to see the cool pics). Just note in the post that the challenge that your pic meets has already been met and reaffirm what the current/new challenge is.
5. If a challenge isn’t met within 48hrs of the request, anyone can offer up a new challenge. We got to keep this going. Just quote the last challenge when making the new challenge and state that the 48hrs has elapsed, this way people will know why, when and by whom the challenge was change.
Here's what I posted 2015-04-04:
Here's what I'd like to suggest:
Let's move on with the game and add the italic text above to the "guidelines"?
Well, that's where we are-
"Difficulty finding new challenges" that are not so obtuse that no one will be able to get.
Now, if the rules were relaxed to include duplicate challenges, it would keep from killing the thread, I think.
I'd prefer that to happan as we're getting to the point of diminishing returns. But, it isn't my thread, so I'll just wait and see what happans.
(BTW- I had a great "fog shot" this am on the way to work. Too bad I was riding a Tiger at the time!)
Oh well, carry on I guess.

If people are receiving email updates for every post in this thread,,,
A post made here to inform them to move to "Dyna Challenge Game II",,
would be enough to notify them. And it might get a few others to join instead of,
"that old tired thread again"
We do appreciate the time you take to update the challenge games,,
but scrolling 11 pages of challenges isn't exactly done in a few minutes either.
(I do get tired of "Bikini babe" posing with your bike" though, you almost need a paid pro and a signed release to post a photo on the WWW!)

Kind of a moot point;

You're right on informing current subscribers and ask them to subscribe to a new to open Dyna Challenge II thread. I really appriciate this kind of constructive input!
May I give you a tip on scrolling through the list?
Download the excel list and use ctrl+f to enter a keyword to find previous challenges and all results show up in just a second...
Let's wait and see what Ack's opinion is; after all it's his thread. My role is only trying to steer things into the right direction.
