Default What's missing in these pics?

Finally got time to pull the wheel. Now i find out HD service dept is not open tommorow.

Well will give me time to clean things real good, roads are messed up now anyway.

The axle was really stuck, factory must not use antiseeze! Required a bit of tapping to get it out

I had a real problem removing the rear axle, after only 4,000 miles, and there's a whole series of posts on this site covering the same. I'd advise everyone who hasn't already done so to remove, and lubricate the axle at the earliest opportunity. Once it's really seized it'll be difficult to remove without damging the bearings, and a simple puncture could become a nightmare!

mine was 4700 miles. wasn't real bad, just tap tap tap with plastic hammer , then a brass punch to keep it moving a bit futher

How much did you pay for your rear Metzeler Keith? I was quoted bya local indy here in NH of $167 mounted and balanced. (Contingent upon purchase before March 1st) This is a ME-880 150/90-16.

Anyone else have thisparticular tirean 05 FXDI?
