Just got my first harley it's a 2013 wideglide and I just installed some vance & hines slip on exhaust. Up on decel I have a a lot of popping is this normal?u

 

I have same slip-ons on my 11 Wide Glide with no popping on decel..you probably need to use a race tuner and hi-flow air filter. I have the tuner and hi-flow and it runs great.

 

need to tune it. take it to a dyno tuner. would also be a good idea to get a aftermarket air breather.

 

It might be an exhaust leak so make sure everything is tight.

Xknight you get any popping with the cycle shacks? I got the 2.5's on my wide and get a bit here and there

I actually am waiting for my Cycle Shacks to arrive so don't have them on the bike yet. My other bikes did have some decel popping whenever I swapped out pipes, even after getting a tuner.

 

well I tightened everything up and rode this morning,it still popped alittle on decel but not as bad as yesterday, it might have just been a exhaust leak.

Good stuff, even stock pipes pop a little, I get less also if I use 91 octane
