I had one, it worked great! If you lower your bike though its a little tough to get it under it though. But all in all its a quality lift.

I suspect it's ok. I have a HF chock/stand and the motorcycle dolly. I don't have the room for the 1000lb table tho. That table is really heavy! There are always HF discount coupons. Usually the 20%-Off coupon comes in the mail. If I had the room, I'd prolly have one.....

I've got one and the only negative thing I'll say about it is the front tire clamp is useless. The option is get a proper chock or don't use the clamp at all. I drilled a couple of holes for tie downs that are a little farther forward so it pulls the bike into the stop and that works fine. I had it over 3 years now and it has been a blessing for repair work and serious cleaning/detailing. I have used various jacks on top of the lift with different tie down locations to raise the front or rear tire for whatever task was at hand.

I got a hell of a deal on mine! The local harbor freight store had it as a managers special. I thought is was too short for my vrod and so I found the manager and told him I'd have to modify it for my bike and ended up haggling him down and I paid less than $300 for it. BTW, the vrod fit fine so I'm sure the FLD will go on it just fine as well.

A buddy has been using one for 4 years and loves it. I'm planning on buying one this winter.

The table is 86.5" long and the FXD has a wheelbase of about 64".

Do it! Great for the price and a pleasure to have a place to set the tools on while working. My back loves not bending over for hours at a time.
