Save your money and just get the Vance and Hines fuelpak, since you're only thinking about doing slipons and intake. New they go for about $210 at DennisKirk.com and I've seen them used for as low as $75. Plus it's a simple install. You won't get full benefit with the other expensive tuners with slipons and some air cleaner.

It's no good with motor work though, so just think down the line.

Wow. Is this a screaming deal? Anyone NOT happy with a Power Vision? Just watched a few videos and talked to the Dyno Jet folks. Seams like a great product. And the $400 price point doesn't seam bad.

the Power Vision normally goes for 499 plus 15 bucks for shipping if you get it from fuelmoto. But then again, I hear they have AWESOME tech support. Im in the market for a tuner as well and Im not sure if I want to buy the PV from fuelmoto and get the support and maps they provide, or save a 100 bucks and hope i wont need tech support....

Maybe Fuelmoto will match DirectCycleParts sale price and gain a few new customers.

I'm leaning toward the SEPRT. $450-$500 (with cable and software) seems pretty pricey for my objectives. The ONLY things I will do to my fat bob will be slip ons and high flow air.

MAYBE a full exhaust somewhere down the road, but I don't really see that happening. Not because I wouldn't like to, but really don't like LOUD and it seems all the pipes that I would consider are just that. LOUD.

So, is buying the pro tuner really worth it for me? Everything I've read and have been told (even by two dealers) says stay away from the street tuner.

It's obviously quite a bit cheaper. Will it do what I need?
I just had a S&S Stealth air cleaner, Python Mamba slip-ons, and SERT installed on my 2012 Super Glide. I haven't been able to go on a good ride yet to give an honest review of this set-up, but I can definitely feel a little more "pep in the step" which is all I really wanted. Sound of the slip-ons is definitely louder than stock but not obnoxious. Cost for parts and labor came to anout $1300 total. You sound like you want the same thing out of you bike that I do, so I hope this helps.
