Jackyl, here's another angle that really shows off your product!

Best regards,

A sunny day, finally, to show the lift on my Dyna.

Sweet SE Dyna you got there. Am I mistaken but that looks like military housing in Germany in the back ground. Hell might even be Hainerberg housing in Wiesbaden. I was stationed there three years ago.I am now headed to Stuttgart.Did you have any issues with the inspections and your pipes? I heard that they are cracking down on loud pipes.

Close, that's Mainz-Kastel housing! Good eye! Since it's new it doesn't require an inspection and I registered for two years, so I don't have to have it inspected until then. I still have the stock pipes for the inspection tho. The Samson Legends are nice and loud and won't get close to passing the test! The Fatboy crowd has their own set of pipes they share. The guy at Vehicle Reg is wise to it, but goes along with it. Funny how some guys hang 'em by whatever method just to ride it into the bay!

Damn, didn't even think about Kastel Housing.. LOL I lived right by the high school in Hainerberg this last time I was there.I did two tours at WAAF, one way back when it was WAFB!

My Big shot staggereds will not pass either. I have read that some are adding steel wool prior to the baffles just for the inspections and then blowing it out afterward.

Another trick I heard was to leave it in gear, slip the clutch while holding the front brake to lower the pitch of the exhaust thereby bringing the dB down. They already give us a 4 dB leeway just because we ride Harleys. The germans can sneak up on you on their rides, it's a joke!!

Going to have to remember that trick. I do have my stock, yuk, pipes. If I need to I can swap them out for the inspections. Problem I have is that I also have a Suzuki Intruder that I am bringing and I do not have the stock exhaust for that one. How much longer do you have over there? I loved riding north along the Rhein river.

That's the 43mm inverted fork of the SE Dyna. Really cool feature that works pretty well. I see it as the Dyna's response to the SE Springer trick front end.
