Default the best years for dynas being made

i am probraly going to buy a dyna this summer as my first bike...what year or years were they made the best? as far as dependibility,toughness and overall fun to ride?

You're going to get a lot of different answers on this one...

Personally, I prefer the 07-11 bikes, you get the 96" motor, six speed, upgraded chassis and bigger fork tubes, fuel injection, and newer style cam chain tensioners.

From what I'm hearing the '13 SB is a pretty awesome bike. If I were looking for a dyna now, the FatBoB would get a test.

I would have to agree with Reindeer on this one, this past summer i rode my 07 sg 3200 kms from Ontario to newfoundland in 3 days and I really appreciated the 6 speed.

Love my 06Lowrider but from what i heard and if i had the opportunity I would have bought an 02 DX or 05 DX

My preference is '07 or '13 not the years in between. I also like the '06 because its a little unique.

Although I love my 06' SB its a pain trying to get the correct parts for performance upgrades.. so i have to agree 07'-12'
