I just put on a set of Pythons (that I picked up from a forum member here thank you very much) on my 2012 FXDC and it seems that the pipes are causing the bike to vibrate more especially at idle.

It also feels like the bike has a little more pep to it although this could also just be a side effect of the bike sounding so much more throaty with the slip-ons.

Am I imagining this or is what I am describing possible?

Yes. Pipes can change the bike's vibration. Have been talked about and explained why somewhere on this forum.

 

Yes everything resonates at a certain frequency. Each type of pipes have a certain frequency which can make things vibrate more or less. Its not your imagination.
