Here is a slightly different style. I painted mine with rattle can truck bed liner. It is extremely durable and has a wrinkle black appearance.

BTW. Kuryakyn makes a black bezel that already has the LED built in, but they are $125.

You can. Chrome actually coats better than bare metal because no (or much less) gas escapes from the base material. PC is a great option for chrome parts. Norma paint doesn't stick well to chrome though unless you really put a lot of attention to the surface prep/

Just be careful. The '13 models can run LED in the front or back, but with full LED, it screws up the indicator in the dash (super fast blinking, but only on the dash. Load equalizers don't seem to fix it.

Don't all H-D models used the same bullet-style signals now? In that case, these trim rings would fit any 2013 bike. I'd double-check with a dealer, but, they're probably only listed for Sportsters because the Nightster, Iron, and 48 are the only H-D models that come with gloss black signal housings from the factory.
