Default Power Vision/ Auto Tune Basic

I did a basic run on one of the fuel maps Jamie sent me just to see what it does. I can't tell any difference on the modified tune from the original one. Would somebody please explain in layman's terms exactly what this does.

I can not but I can tell you that Jamie's map is pretty darn close to optimum!

Should have made some changes to your VE tables. If you up load your recently auto tuned map to your computer you can compare it to the origial FM map. In Winpv if you load one of the maps, then click load compare and load the other you can then view the differences/deltas between the VE tables of the two maps.

I think that Jamie has done so many maps now that the Autotune feature just polishes up the VEs now. After my first Autotune, I did not notice any big changes either and when I used the Compare feature in WinPV, there were changes but none of them dramatic at all.

No two engine/AC/exhaust setups have identical Volumetric Efficiencies. Jamie's maps are generally very close, but the better you model your setup's VE tables the more accurately you can expect the engine to respond to your AFR tables. If you really want to understand how your PV works you should be following This Thread.
