Yeah I had it all the way forward, then tried it in the middle, now tilted all the way back, and its a little better but still pretty bad. I'm curious if its because I'm short and ride in the win bubble (5 foot 7) I know a tall guy with the same set up and he has no problems either, but said its bad when he tucks down behind it...
I ordered a laminar so hopefully it fixes it.

Do You or anyone else have any pics of the two different roadawgs size windshields? Im thinking about the 13.5" but want to see what the two differences look like? And if the smaller one has that lip at the top curving up like tall one!
I decided when i got the 1
H.D. Quarter that i would get either the laminar or roadawgs?

I have had all 3. The tall roadawgz, the short one and the Laminar Lip. I did not like the roadawgz at all. The material it's made of is cheap looking and flimsy. It's about half as thick as the Laminar Lip, therefore it shakes and vibrates at idle so much, it looks ridiculous on the bike. Worse still, the material they use and the manufacturing of it is hugely inferior to any other windshield I've ever had on any bike I've in 30+ years of motorcycling. The "clear" windshield is so wavy when you look through it, I consider it dangerous. Thats fine at highway speeds when your looking further down the road, but It's tall enough that you have to look through it at slower speeds and and I found it distracting to the point of finding my cornering lines disrupted. I still had buffeting with it and it looked like a cheap piece of c**p on my bike. It's sitting in my garage where it will stay. The shorter one and the taller one both have the same shape on top, by the way.
The Laminar Lip is a much, much better product. I've used them in the past on other bikes as well. It's crystal clear, heavy weight material and works well. I still sometimes get a small amount of buffeting with it, but only from the rear of my helmet where the air pocket starts to collapse, and that is mostly dependent on the ambient winds for that particular day. The wind noise is greatly diminished with it, too.
I also didn't like the adhesive mount it came with, the Dual Lock works perfectly.. it fact, it's really hard to get it separated after its together, I just didn't like the way it looked, so after I found a good height to mount it on the fairing, I went to Lowe's and picked up 4 plastic screws and wellnuts, 12 rubber grommets and 4 of those little snap covers to hide the screw heads and drilled four mounting holes through the Laminar Lip and fairing to have a cleaner mount.
