I finally got off my *** and took care of that crappy IPB and stupid stator issue. Should be done by today. Here's a few pics. Not doing a write up on it. There's tons of threads discussing this issue. Just wanted to let every one know that I finally have a lil piece of mind when ripping up the streets of Nor Cal..

Here's a photo of my bike on the lift. I have more photos but the wife wants to use the computer so I will post the rest later.
You got it done before it ruined your day down the line... Nice work!
Yeah every time I got on the bike and went for a long ride. That **** was always on my mind. So now I have some piece of mind when Im rippin down the HWY.
Man am I jealous. I want to do mine so bad.. everytime I am on the bike I am thinking about those stupid little bolts. Everytime I hear a noise I think its my IPB.
Dealership wants $1800.00 to do the job and they won't install the Baker bearing but they will install a new inner primary with the locating pins.
I checked with an independant well respected local guy and he told me around $1500.00 with the new Baker bearing. Thats alot more than I have to spend on the bike.
I am sure I can do it myself but I don't have the tool to take out the IPB or press a new one in.
