Hey my buddy n i guna put some bars on his 2010 fat bob same height unsure about wires, take gas tank off and unplug them or cut and solder them backtogether after internal wiring is finished. could get wire extensions i think he mite be few inches short so any help? thanx

I've cut and spliced and disassembled/reassembled connectors and found both to be equally time consuming. I've done several bikes and always found enough extra wire in the harness for about 4" of additional height.

 

you shouldn't need to cut and splice. you may not even need to pull the tank all the way off. There should be plenty of extra length to play with though. I still have extra after switching from stock bars to 13" apes.
