Default V&H Fuelpak Question

Two weeks ago I bought a 07 Dyna Super Glide. It has the stage 1 intake and Rush slipons with 1 3/4 inch baffles. I bought some xieds to install because when I am going around 5-10mph at low rpms I feel a very light kinda jerky motion. I took the seat off and discovered it has a V&H fuelpak. I looked at the values on each mode and they are all different values than what the fuelpak website say they are supposed to be except mode 23, thats the only one thats the same as fuelpaks site says. The bike runs fine except for the very slight jerking and the plugs look good.

1. Should I change the values to what fuelpaks site says its supposed to be and see how it runs?

2. Should I hook up the xieds and see how they do?

Thanks for any advice

You should mark down all of the addons and their specs and email or phone fuelPakfi.com with ALL of the info and get a proper or updated map from them.
This includes air intake, exhaust and Xieds (I don't have them installed on mine).

Mode 23:

The Fuelpak has a function which shuts off the fuel when decelerating. No fuel=no pop. Obviously the Fuelpak has to turn the fuel back on at some point or the engine would die. Not all popping can be eliminated, but this feature does lessen it. Mode 23 controls the rpm where the fuel is turned back on. Try lowering this by one number and see if it helps you. If you have done this and have gotten to 14 or your bike is stalling when coming to a stop, that is all you can do and you will not be able to lessen the popping

I sent them an email and told them about my situation. I told them what intake and exhaust I have but haven't heard back from them yet. I didn't tell them about the xieds though. Should I tell them about the xieds? Would they make a big difference in the settings?

If you have not heard from them, try calling or resend email.
If you are going to take the info from the website, make sure you are accurate with the info you input. Do keep hassling them for a map, even if it is to confirm what you input.
As for Xieds, there was someone on here testing tuners. Thread was about why the dislike for the FuelPak. He combined them and did not see a lot of difference, but it did work. The FuelPak does not get programed wjth the Xieds in mind. Try the bike after you reprogram to see how it runs before installing Xieds.
Follow the directions and you will be fine.

I have the FuelPak with Stage 1 and SE255 cams. The FuelPakfi guys sent me a map that works really well.

Default It Costs Nothing To Try

Write down all the values the bike was set up with and then go ahead and change the values to what V&H says they should be. Worse case scenario would be changing the bike back to the way you got it. The beauty of the Fuelpack is the easy of change and removal if necessary!

vance and hines upgrades there settings on the internet as they go along, the settings on there web sight would be the newest, if you bought the bike used it may have old settings and need to be reset, I run the fuelpak with the xieds and they work fine together. nightrider and vance and hines say they compliment each other when used together
