Default Seat replacement, 2008 super glide

Can anyone recomend a good comfortable rider and pillion seat to replace the standard seat on a 2008 dyna superglide. The wife said she gets a sore butt on long rides?

Mustang. I have tried saddleman on another ride and didn't like it.

Here is what I've seen:

Just about everyone likes the mustang. Some people like other seats more, but I've never heard anyone get a mustang, put 500 miles on it breaking it in and say "this sucks". Maybe such a person will chime in but by and large you can't go taht wrong.

That said, I have sat on the ultimate seat for a friend's road star and that is another level. Sadly they don't make them for dynas, or didn't when I checked.

If you want the wife to be happy then buy a sundowner. Very comfy driver and passenger seat. (all one piece) Kinda bulky, but so is my recliner

I took the sundowner and cut 1.5 inches off it. Added a comfy pad and sheep skin. Wifey is happy now. You might have to add floor boards if you really want her happy. Maybe a cup holder, giant windscreen, and helmet communications. You might not be happy but she would be.

I have the sundowner and mustang vintage wide w/pillion. They both are really comfortable seats. The sundowner set me higher and closer to the tank. The mustang sets you back and is narrower at the front making it easier to plant your feet and in my opinion much better looking and more comfortable.

Sundowner was one of the first buy's when I got my bike, one of the bulkiest out of place looking seat I ever saw but very comfortable and sooo nice on long rides. Wife quit complaining about a sore butt too

I think the Sundowner is a good choice. I have a Le Pera Maverick on my 2008 FXDC and I am very happy with it. It has a nice, low profile, and the passenger portion in particular is very comfortable for my wife. I have done many 500+ mile day trips with it and been plenty comfortable. I have over 20,000 miles on it and no complaints. Oh, the seat is a little pricey though.

Thanks for the positive endorsement!
