Default Floorboard fitment?

anyone know what the fitment issues might be putting on floorboards designed for softails/baggers on a 2013 wide glide?

You need a package, shifter, linkage, brake pedal, linkage, floorboards and mounting.
Research what Police versions of your frame were offered and look at the Switchback. Both would be the same Dyna frame and should have the same mounting issues.

I would look into Switchback components from 1 or 2 totaled bikes. Do your rersearch and the price can be right through a used parts house.

I have the FLD kit on my Super Glide. Should be easier to put same on your Wide Glide since it already has the foward controls. But I do believe there's a clearance issue with the stock Tommygun exhaust.

The "defender" dyna floorboard kit as mounted to earlier police and service dept dynas, mount above the lower exhaust pipe like the mid mount footpeg bracket, and the switchback floorboard kit mounts under the pipe. The defender kit is a bit higher under foot, however it's a good option for short legs and has great corner clearance. The kit will include everything need to swap, but...it may mark the top of the tommy gun pipe heat shield as the other dynas have a recess on the heat shield to allow for it. I've tried them on my 12 fxdc and while comfortable, they were a bit high for my leg stretch. The brake pedal leverage was amazing, hit the rear pedal and it just stopped. I've now got a reduced reach set of forwards with heel rest kit and it's great, but I do miss the rear stopping power of the big pedal. The defender kit is still available from V twin over there, I think.
