hello everyone Im new to this site and amazed by the useful info it awesome! My situation is this, I just bought a 2007 superglide fxd, my first road bike after many years of dirt bikin and Im lovin this bike.previous owner has replaced both fenders with fiberglass ones and done custom paint job bike looks great.Stock solo seat is uncomfortable and I have new tall boy seat on way.there is no hole on the rear fender for a 2 up seat so can I just drill a hole of proper size for harley part#59768-97 fender seat nut kit i just bought and mount tall boy seat or is there a way to do this properly? my concern is will the fender hole alone be strong enough to hold seat in place.has any one done this?thanks for any advice or suggestions

 

fiberglass fenders? if theres no provision for a bolt for a 2 up seat, look at how the 1 up seat is attached... is there support plate under there? i would say whatever is holding the 1 up on should be duplicated on the other hole for the 2 up..
