Just wanted to express my extreme pleasure with my new footpegs from DK Customs Wow what a difference the bike feels like a whole new rig and my feet feel planted to the pegs. Went with super-stealth and they feel so much better with my forward controls, not to mention the super fast shipping they provide. My feet don't feel like their going to fly off even at 90, got a big trip coming up soon and these badboys are going to make things alot better.

So does this bear trap allow you to hunt bear while riding?

 

 

I just got mine with heel rests for my highway pegs, but haven't ridden with them yet. Riding to work tomorrow and will post results.

 

The more and more I see the MX style pegs being used the more I like them. I have a pair of HD silencer pegs on my forward controls and since my legs are short they want to push my feet of the pegs. I think these would give some extra grip

So I did just under 60 miles with the bear traps and ended up taking them off. They don't leave enough clearance for my boot heel to sit in the rest. If you were riding with vans or chucks (something with no heel), the bear trap with heel rest would probably be fine. Just doesn't work with boots.

I put my original pegs back on and kept the heel rests, and now they feel perfect. I may try the pedals on my mids later. The heel rests with the mini-traps are exactly what I was looking for on my highway pegs. I can completely relax my legs for a much needed break on long rides.
