Ok, so I have searched high and low on the forum but I can't seem to get a definitive answer.

So, does anyone have 12 inch mxt bars on a 2010-12 wide glide?

How far back is the pull because of the rake? How tall are they over the bike for a guy around 6 ft?

Is a cable change a must if I go with 12 inch mxts?

Lastly, do I need to buy the bungs for the bars? Or do they come ready to mount when I order them?


If anyone can give me some definite answers on any of these things it will be greatly appreciated!

 

I think there is one or two WG on here with 12" WC MX bars. U will probably need a cable and breakline change. I put the Wild 1 10" t-bars on and stock cables fit. If I went with the 12" I would have needed +2" on everything.

There are some threads, maybe check the 2010 WG keeping track of mods thread and see if some pics are posted there.

You will have to change the throttle cable and brake line if you go with 12" bars...They just fit on the 10" T Bars I have...

 

How far is the pullback on the 10s? I want the bars to be shoulder height and my arms are pretty long so would they be too extreme if I were to go with the 12s?

Thanks a lot man, those just aren't my style. I will have to get with u for some powder coating as soon as I get home from this deployment.

 

I put 12" MX on my t sport. had to run a longer section of the brake line and a longer clutch cable. everything else fit
