Question BAD&G attachment question

I like the BAD&G bags but questioning how they attach. Could someone tell me how it attaches to the brake side? And at the side with the belt guard, that moves with suspension / swingarm. Wouldn't that pull down on the straps tightened to the strut covers or bend the belt guard?

I just have the right side and attached it to the swingarm. I have the top 2 tight but the bottom one is loose (sucked up the loosness into the bag so it wasn't hanging out) to allow for some travel.

The right side attaches to the brake caliper bracket. Left side attaches to the outside sprocket guard bracket (mine has two). Like said already, cinch up the upper straps and let the lowers float a bit...good to go.

Yup! Exactly it. Definitely recommend BAD&G, I LOVE my right side bag.

I love the look of these bags but have heard a few off-comments about how the hold up. considering getting a battery bag for my Street Bob.

I have heard about issues long ago when he used thinner leather, but its my understanding that he is using better quality leather now. Can anybody confirm this?

There are two kinds on his site. The older soft leather, these are the ones that wear out.
I ordered the "hard bags" and it is very nice. The back piece is very thick and sturdy and the leather is thicker all around. Dont see any chance of drooping or sagging, even if the leather breaks in a bit.

I haven't treated them and they've been on since I got them. I have the battery bag wish is a little dented from my leg resting on it but other than that, they are still in perfect condition.
