Have to agree with you there...but the pipes won't be anything like loud enough

 

I've always liked the FatBob. The riding position fit me well and I just liked the look... even the quirky small, dual headlights and duck tail fender. It just looked like an angry, "f-u and what you think" bike.
When I saw the pics of the '14 on the web sight I was disappointed. What is this "Moonraker" late seventies sh*t? Then I saw one in person... I like it. I like it a LOT. It's an even angrier looking MAD MAX machine. If it had cruise control like my FLHR...

 

Okay, I have to backtrack a bit. I sat on a black one today and... I liked it. Except for the black cover on the shock and the paint stripe, it looks mean.

With pipes and a few other tweaks it could be awesome.

 

Here's the black one at my dealer. I don't like the Seat. When someone sits on it the back portion pulls away from the passenger seat. Also the battery cover looks cheap.

 

I was in at my local dealer over the weekend and they had a new 2014 sitting on the floor. After looking it over for a couple of minutes one of the sales guys came up and remarked "aren't you glad you bought a 2013". Does not sound like they are impressed with the changes as well.

 

I like it too. I was surprised. When I first saw pics, I was like WTF? Then I saw it in person.

 

I like them. I think 90% of the changes were well done. I don't like the red stripe on the black denim paint.
A few things that would make it better...the horn cover and belt guard should be black & they should have incorporated the rear turn signals into the brake lights.

 

I may be a bit bias being the owner of a 2012 fatbob . But the 2014 rear fender and taillight changes have ruined sleek look of the original design. however I do like the banded graphic on the tank.. just an opinion from a owner of a fat bastard..

 

Overall, I don't like it. I HATE that seat. I like the taillight, sorta. I want the black/chrome shocks for mine. I like the blacked-out headlight bezels. But I have no reason to trade mine in for one. Mainly because of the Candy Orange hue of mine. I stand out way more than any color on the new ones. And I'm getting mine broke in and loving it. They can keep the new ones. Only other bike I would consider would be a Street Glide or a Road Glide.
