When we did the trip up to the arctic circle this last summer, I removed the Cyclone Cover and put on a Bobber cover...knew we were going to be riding on a bunch of muddy roads and a bunch of calcium chloride covered gravel roads. That stuff will plug up the filter And a rain sock.
I really like the simplicity of just the bolts. If you end up fabbing some for the big sucker I'll buy them in brass.
Yes, agreed. The other breathers are for folks that want an external breather but don't have an air cleaner that will work with the breather bolts, and for those who have excessive oil carry-over.
